A Few Peeks


I've been slowly plugging away at this piece. Just can't seem to get it finished so I'm giving you a few more peeks. Last night I hung out with some friends and we each brought things we were working on. It was so fun and relaxing to be chatting in the middle of all that creativity.

Exciting news! My blog is getting a makeover and the new design will hopefully be up by Monday. I can't wait to show you!

    cant wait to see your completed picture it looks as far as I can peek :)
    especially the butterfly and birds :)
    I can imagine how fun last night was - some of the ladies did something similar at church recently

      Purple is my favorite. It has a way of sneaking into many of my paintings. :)

      Butterflies are such interesting forms to play around with. They're so colorful in real life so adding weird shapes and hues to them in art seems creatively normal. Ha.

    Oooohh, how exciting! I can't wait to see the new design, I bet it will rock. Your group of friends sounds so nice, meeting to swap ideas and have fun. *sigh* Makes me want to hop on a plane and come visit.

      You really should! It was so fun AND inspiring. People were doing all sorts of crafty things: crochet, sewing, doodling... it was nice to see their progress while I worked on my own.
