Not wanting to be a coward, I challenged myself with a deadline--to have something up by the end of the weekend. With trembling hands, I reached my goal. The canyon has been jumped and prints are up! (See there's proof--an Etsy mini on the sidebar) I'll continue to add to the store, but for now I'm relieved to have taken my first baby steps.
In celebration of the Grand Opening, I'm giving away a free print! If you're interested, browse my shop and leave a comment here telling me the print you'd like. I'll announce a winner on Friday.
Your shop looks gorgeous! I love your Dreaming of Ireland print. Best of luck with your shop and new adventure. :)

Congratulations on your shop! It's always fun taking bold steps, isn't it? The very best wishes for much success :)
ReplyDeleteYou did it - I looked at your 'shop' and love Hope. Good luck with it, you see it isn't that hard to be brave!
ReplyDeleteThere's an enormous vulnerability that comes with not only expressing your inner most thoughts but sharing any sort of projects we attempt. They're these little labours of love that we set forth into the world and hope with all our hearts they aren't judged too harshly.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on successfully overcoming your fears and being brave enough to embrace your vulnerability.
Glad you did because your work is beautiful.
I'm torn between sisters at heart and fly - they're both so very poignant.
Best of luck with your future ventures xx
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO PROUD OF YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove them all, Catherine, but my two favorite would have to be HOPE or FLY. (Pink hair or blue bird, pink hair or blue bird. lol.)
Your shop looks fantastic and so professional! Can't wait to see what becomes of it. Good things, I'm sure.
Kristin
YEAH!! I love everything about this!!! :D
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you doubted yourself, Catherine! But I'm thrilled you took the leap. You know only too well how I feel about your art (do you have a restraining order against your #1 stalker fan yet?). I tried to see your prints, but for some reason they won't come up on my computer. You know I love them ALL, though! :-)
ReplyDeleteToo late! I already bought the one I wanted! Your prints are so sweet. Congratulations on overcoming your fear!
ReplyDeleteTricia
Congratulations on taking this step! Hurray!!! So happy for you. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite (though I love them all!) is "Fly."
Oh my goodness, I'm so happy for you! And for me too, as I'm going to snag me a print. :) Off to see your shop.
ReplyDeleteCatherine, (celebrating you!)
ReplyDeleteHow inspiring to see you take such a step amidst the fear. You go girl!
I enjoy your artwork so much. My favorite is "Fly" because that is what I want to do...explore the unknown out of the cage!
Thanks everyone for your kind comments! I've had a happy "launch" day. :)
ReplyDeleteVery good luck, Catherine! I've loved your art since we first found each others' blogs. I'm so happy I stopped by today to see the big news of your new shop; I can completely appreciate how daunting it must have been to do this and I'm proud of you! Congratulations! :D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on taking that bold step. I love the symbolism of "Free," and I love the colors and look of "Queen of Clubs." They're all as inspirational as you are.
ReplyDeleteYou know I love you and your work! My favorite is "Fly"! I'm a sucker for birdies!
ReplyDeleteI CANT BELIEVE I MISSED THIS!!! That's what I get for taking a blogging hiatus. I'm so, so, so, soooooo proud of you for doing this. You're very talented Catherine. DO NOT doubt that! Soon I will own one of your original artworks...yes i will!!!
