Oh, I am SO HAPPY for you. I was just at the Highlights offices in Honesdale, PA and imagining my name in the byline of a Highlights story. Can't wait to read it. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations! I haven't opened my copy yet, but I picked it up from the post office the day before yesterday. Now, I have to go read your story to Gwenyth. Fun, fun, fun.
So, I read your story to Gwenyth, and after she'd gotten me to read it another three times, she pointed out that the grandma was Kelsey's fifth best friend.
This is actually a perfect story for me to read to my pre-school classes tomorrow. They're learning the letter F this week, and they're just to that point where they're fighting over who can be friends with who. This would help me address the problem in a positive way. Thanks for the great story!
Awwww, Myrna thank you so much!!! Gwenyth is right of course! I should've thought of that. ;) It means the world to me that you'd use it in your class. Thanks for your encouragement.
Hi Catherine, Congrats on the Highlights piece! I just got your thank you card, forwarded to me (twice, actually!) via Highlights & from Texas to where I am in Montreal. Very sweet of you to do that! I enjoyed illustrating your rebus puzzle and will be posting the page on my blog soon. I will give you a mention. : )
YEEEEAAAHHHH!!! I love Highlights. Or at least...when I was little I did.
